Unwilling of the Families of Jailed Dervishes at Adel-Abad Prison to Post Bail

The families of imprisoned Gonabadi Dervishes, Messrs. Mohsen Esmaeeli, Seyed Ebrahim Bahrami, Mohammad Ali Sadeghi and Mohammad Ali Dehghan refused to pay determined bail due to considering the unlawful detention and trial process.
According to Majzooban Noor, while justice administration of Kavar asked their families to post the bail of 250 million toman for their temporary release order, for another case that has been made for these Dervishes in Shiraz’s Revolutionary Court, no bail is set yet.
According to their lawyers, they are being held in Ebrat ward of Shiraz’s Adel-Abad prison in undecided situation and at about one month ago prison authorities decided to extend their detention period for the fourth time!
After holding the first session of their trial, the responsible judge said that the trial court will determine the appropriate sentence within 7 or 10 days but another hearing is supposed to be held in Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court of Shiraz presided by judge Yazdanian on 17th of Dey ( Jan, 7 2014).
Four Gonabadi Dervishes, who were arrested in the city of Kavar on 10 Ordibehesht 1392 (April 30 2013) have been in temporary detention for near 8 months without charge.
Currently five Gonabadi Dervishes are confined in security section of Adel-Abad prison that among them, Kasra Nouri, an editor of Gonabadi Dervish news website “Majzooban Noor”, has been sentenced to four years and four months imprisonment.
