It should be mentioned this interview was carried out one day ago including the statements of The Holiness about the events over the past two days and protests of Gonabadi Dervishes due to the security forces and putting pressures on Dervish prisoners.
Q: Many Dervishes are on the way to Tehran to express their protests against pressures imposed on Dervishes and make the related officials accountable. What will be your recommendation? Thanks.
A: “some brothers come here; I cannot go to see them. They came here to do something, I see them, I appreciate them. The point that makes me glad, that they have been affected because some of their brothers here have been suppressed unjustly and illegally, and they came here for this sorrow. I was happy also and; hopefully, God increase their empathy and unity between them and these various organizations that their task is to manage the society should be happy for this blessing. Because whatever they do, and have done so far, only increase the differences. Now, some differences have been created between Shia and Sunni, apart from these differences which we see currently. Anytiny difference has turned into a psychological warfare and deployment, and while we all want peace and want to live in communion with one another in peace and tranquility. Where shall we take this concern to? Those who are hostile to us are our brothers,
“I never complain of aliens, whatever has done on me, It was from familiar.”
Those who are doing this are familiar. Now, what should I say? The one, who prays, fasts, does all these acts, and then slanders his brothers. And those related officials do not impede them. We are not allowed to answer them. No one understands our response, but ourselves. But websites frequently slander and charge us, which is exactly unlike the reality and true. Well, all these acts bother and torment any human and mystic, as these people have come to protest.
I hope that this time That Mr. (chief of police) who promised to some of our sisters, this promise to be practiced and fulfilled, hopefully. And do not forget to fulfill that, and they should know that we are Dervish, not as a meaning of an unemployed and a fruitless one. Dervish means as I had mentioned at first, I told;
“In friendship, we are pure like flowing water, but in animosity like a marble.”
Do not be hostile with us; we have no enmity with anyone. And I hope this time they take care of that. We are still hoping that after this period, we consider a deadline for ourselves, and then will continue our attempt to revitalize our rights. So, because here in Tehran, the Dervishes of Tehran had started earlier, so those dears who have come from other cities, do not intensify. It is better to accompany their friends. If their friends are calm, remain calm and if their friends need help, so, to defend their friends help them.
We mentioned that “in defense like a marble, but in friendship, we are pure like flowing water”. Those who are hostile to us, they saw us calm like running water, and they did not expect us to be like marble, and they carried out all these violations and anti-interests tasks which are conspicuous insults to all officials and regime as well. They should be prosecuted if intentional, and if not, hopefully not intentional, they should repent. And it is, to some extent, up to the religious clergymen leading the public opinion.
With all enmities and animosities toward us, we still have not declared and will not any enmity toward them. We are brothers, but they are brothers attacking us, so, we attack them more severe, meaning we defend ourselves intensely. But we are brothers together. Hopefully, not only do they observe, but we do. I hope so.
