Hamid-Reza Moradi and Afshin Karampour Started Hunger Strike in Support of Farshid Yadollahi

On the fourth day of hunger strike by imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish lawyer, Farshid Yadollahi, two other jailed Dervishes, Hamid-Reza Moradi and Afshin Karampour have also declared a hunger strike in solidarity with him.
Accordig to Majzooban Noor, following the intensification of restrictions on jailed Dervishes, on Sunday 9th of Shahrivar 1393 (August , 31 2014) Farshid Yadollahi by addressing to “Javad Momeni, Evin prison’s Assistant warden”, declared that, in case of failure to stop the illegal and inhumane behavior of these judicial and security officials, will launch hunger strike. Farshid Yadollahi not only did not get any response from the deputy prison, but also, was again transferred illegally from ward 7 to secsion 4 for the third time in the last six months. After this unlawful transfer he went on hunger strike.
The report adds that, Afshin Karampour who has been in a silent protest, visit and phone strike for more than 15 days, this afternoon in a short call, by announcing that “Persecution of one Dervish means injustice to all Dervishes” said that he and Hamid-Reza Moradi Sarvestani are beginning hunger strikes.
Eight imprisoned Gonabadi Dervishes in Evin Prison who are lawyers and human rights activists, were tried in absentia by Branch 15 of Tehran Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Salavati and have been sentenced to more than 60 years in prison, without the presence of the jury and their lawyers!
