Imprisoned Dervish rights activist and a reporter for the news website Majzooban Noor, Kasra Nouri was transferred back to Shiraz’s Nezam prison.
Based on the report by Majzooban Noor, Gonabadi Dervish, Kasra Nouri was transferred back from Adel Abad Prison to Nezam Prison in Shiraz yesterday on Saturday, 31 Khordad 1393(June 21, 2014). Since a month ago he had been moved to Adel-Abad prison as a venue for university exams while based on criteria specified, prisoner should not be taken for examination to a place outside and the examination must take place at the same prison. It should be mentioned that he had been even deprived of “his most basic right” of visiting his family during that period.
Currently Gonabadi Dervish, Kasra Nouri is serving his 4.5 years prison sentence in Nezam prison.
Kasra Nouri was sentenced to one years’ suspended imprisonment by Shiraz General Court and four and a half years in prison by Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court.
