Imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish in Evin’s ward 8, Reza Entesari refused to go to the visiting room for
the second time, due to being forced to wear prison uniform.

According to a report by Majzooban Noor, Dervish rights activist, photojournalist and one of the collaborators of Majzooban Noor website , Reza Entesari who has been dismissed from Radio and Television of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1388, along with another Dervish lawyer, Farshid Yadollahi have been illegally transferred from poltical ward 350 to the public offenses sections of Evin prison since more than a month ago, refused to go to visit hall in order to protest against being forced to wear prison uniform which is absolutely against Jails rules and regulations. In fact, according to the first paragraph of Article 235 of Executive Regulation of Prison Law, political prisoners and prisoners of conscience are exempt from wearing a prison uniform, using handcuffs and footcuffs.
Jailed Gonabadi Dervish Reza Entesari has been deprived of meeting with his family from 3 weeks ago.
Last week, another imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish in Evin’s ward 7, Farshid Yadollahi was also denied family visitation rights for refusing to wear a prison uniform.

Reza Entesari was arrested without a warrant during the night time in Majzooban Noor website office by security forces on 13 , Shahrivar 1390 (September 4, 2011). He was sentenced by Branch 15 of the Islamic Revolution Court in July 2013 to eight years and six months imprisonment on charge of preparing documents and activity in “Majzooban Noor website”.
Recently due to the illegal actions of jail officials, Amir Eslami, the Gonabadi Dervishes lawyer and a member of Human Rights Commission affiliated with Lawyers Association who is currently being held at Ward 350, is deprived of cultural facilities which a prisoner is legally entitled to and the law book. Farshid Yadollahi, the other Gonabadi Dervish and lawyer has been deprived of cultural and educational facilities which are available to other prisoners by the prison authorities on the pretext that he is a political prisoner and, therefore, is not allowed to use the facilities of Ward 8.
On the other hand, Reza Entesari has been forced to wear the prison uniform on the pretext that the ward rules apply to all prisoners.

A few months ago, the two Dervishes, Reza Entesari and Farshid Yadollahi were suddenly transferred from Evin Prison to Rajai-Shahr Prison, west of Tehran. The illegal transfer of them and the lack of medical treatment for imprisoned human rights lawyers, like him, along with other prisoners of conscience prompted a protest in early March. Despite official promises to return them to section 350 of Evin, Farshid Yadollahi and Reza Entesari are being separately held in the ward 7 and 8 which are for ordinary sentenced prisoners in Evin. It is notable that, according to Iranian prison regulations, inmates must be separated by their crimes and political prisoners and prisoners of conscience including jailed Dervishes, should not be mixed with ordinary inmates.
