Four Gonabadi Dervishes are being held in Ebrat ward of Shiraz’s Adel-Abad prison in undecided situation as prison authorities have decided to extend their detention period for the fourth time.
According to Majzooban Noor, four Gonabadi Dervishes, Messrs. Mohsen Esmaeeli, Seyed Ebrahim Bahrami, Mohammad Ali Sadeghi and Mohammad Ali Dehghan who were arrested in the city of Kavar on 10 Ordibehesht 1392 (April 30 2013) without charge or trial have been in temporary detention for more than 7 months.

According to a family member of the Dervishes, after holding the first session of their trial, judge Yazdanian presiding over branch 2 of the revolutionary court in shiraz said that the trial court will determine the appropriate sentence within 7 or 10 days, but a month has passed and the judge has not yet issued the formal sentence for Dervishes.
It is notable that, at the end of the court session on 20 Aban, 1392 ( Nov 11, 2013) which lasted over three hours the judge Mr. Yazdanian gave no explanation about the further or final hearing.
The four Dervishes were charged with “the formation of terrorist group against the regime,” “participating in the gatherings with the aim of overthrowing the Islamic Republic,” “Moharebeh (“enmity against the God”) and “carrying illegal weapons”!

Currently five Gonabadi Dervishes are being held in Ebrat ward and two of them, Seyed Ebrahim Bahrami and Kasra Nouri are in critical condition but they have been repeatedly denied medical treatment by prison authorities.
An informed source has reported that sending sick Dervishes out side prison for treatment depends on recognition and coordinate with Intelligence Ministry and needs to obtain a permit from Intelligence Ministry, otherwise the transfers will not take place even in the worst conditions.
Also, two sick and jailed Dervishes, Hamid-Reza Moradi and Mostafa Daneshjou have remained in critical condition and in urgent need of specialized medical care since more than two weeks which led them facing with a serious and life threatening conditions because of trying to sabotage judiciary by some judicial authorities including judge Salavati. Now unfortunately despite their dire situation, the permissions for transfer them to specialized treatment centers are not issued yet.
