Prominent human rights lawyer Abdolfatah Soltani has been transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office at Evin and had presented his final defense.

He has been indicted for gathering and conspiracy against national security, anti-regime propaganda and founding a group in order to disturb national security.

Judge Pirabbas has extended his detention order for another month.

He was arrested in September while referring to court in order to follow-up on the cases of his clients. The authorities then searched his house and confiscated his belongings.

He had been arrested 3 times before.
