Gonabadi Dervish and a resident of the southern Iranian city of Bandar-Abbas, Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad, was released after completing his sentence.
According to Majzooban Noor, Dervish rights activist and one of the collaborators of Majzooban Noor website, Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad who had been previously sentenced to two years in prison by the Bandar-Abbas Revolutionary Court, was released yesterday after his sentence reduced to four months and twenty days by the Court of Appeals.
The mentioned Gonabadi Dervish was accused of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic” and “being member of anti-regime group with intent to disturb the national security”.
He was released from Bandar-Abbas prison after serving a term of imprisonment which has been more than his sentence.
