On Saturday 30 November, members of the International Organization to Preserve Human Rights in Iran held a manifestation in support of opposition figures Mir Hossein Moussavi, his wife Zahra Rahnavard and Mehdi Karroubi in the crowded streets of Stuttgart, Germany.

Moussavi, Karroubi and Rahnavard have been under house arrest for more than 1,000 days with no charges against them.

The Green Movement leaders challenged the legitimacy of the 2009 elections and were put under house arrest on February 14, 2011.

During the Friday Tehran mass prayers of November 22, 2013 the head of Iran’s Guardian Council, Ahmad Jannati, said that the regime has been merciful to these people and that they should be thankful for not being given a death sentence.

The health of Mousavi, Rahnavard and Karroubi is deteriorating.

Under a lot of attention, the Iophri members demanded the immediate and unconditional release of the opposition leaders as well as the continued imprisonment of dervishes and other political prisoners in Iran.

During the manifestation, Dr. Seyed Mostafa Azmayesh gave an interview to radio Farda:
