The Families of Imprisoned Dervishes: None of the Iranian Judicial Authorities Are Accountable!

saleh kasra hunger-strike

Yesterday morning on 18 Farvardin 1392 (April 7, 2013), the mother of Kasra Nouri, Mrs. Shekoufeh Yadollahi along with Mrs. Masoumeh Khalili, the wife of Saleh Moradi met Mr. Ali Alghasi Mehr, the Shiraz district’s public prosecutor and argued over Dervish hunger strikers and their demands.
According to Majzooban Noor, Mrs. Yadollahi and Mrs, Khalili met the Shiraz district’s public prosecutor in order to ask judicial inquiry into the critical condition of jailed Dervishes and also convey their demands to Iranian judicial authorities. But he shirked his responsibilities and said that he has no jurisdiction over this matter. Finaly, by stating that the physical condition of Kasra Nouri and Saleh Moradi has nothing to do with him, ended the conversation!
The families of jailed Gonabadi Dervishes, during their conversation also pointed out that, cleric Alireza Shahbazi as the principal offender of Kavar event who must be a Muslim missionary, was damaging Islam and created conflicts in Kavar and as a result of Shahbazi’s seduction many Gonabadi dervishes were arrested, wounded and one dervish called ” Vahid Banani” was martyred and now 11 of them are still in detention but the mullah Shahbazi, who is the main cause of all these crimes is now free to continue his activities and no harm comes to him.
It should be reminded that, cleric Alireza Shahbazi’s misdeeds such as “Publishing lies for disturbing public opinion”, “inciting people to protest and conflict,” “propaganda against the Nematollahi Gonabadi Masters” during Kavar event in Shahrivar 1390 (September 2011) has been all ignored by the “Special Courts for the Clergy” (SCC).
The only answer that, Ali Alghasi Mehr, the Shiraz district’s public prosecutor gave to Mrs.Yadollahi and Khalili was that ” It is none of my business”.
This judicial authority in response to the question how they have been in detention more than the serving a period of time which would equate to their sentence so their detention is surely unlawful now, he also kept quiet.

The families of imprisoned Gonabadi Dervishes said to Majzooban Noor website that, despite being on hunger strike for 83 days which in two human being’s lives are at stake, unfortunately, none of the Iranian judicial authorities are accountable!
