The Families of Imprisoned Dervishes Threatened With Arrest

The families of seven imprisoned Gonabadi Dervishes in Evin prison, have been trapped for hours inside the prison visiting room.
According to Majzooban Noor, today, 18th Esfand 1391 (March 18 2013), in the morning the families of seven Dervish lawyers and Majzooban Noor website’s managers had gone to the prison visiting room to meet with their imprisoned loved ones and despite having the permission from the Attorney-General to visit in person, prison authorities prevented them from meeting with these prisoners of conscience and stated that, these Dervishes have been forbidden to visit, under order from judge Salavati.
The families announced that they have a permission letter from the Attorney General for visits in person and shall not leave the prison visiting room until they be allowed to meet with these seven imprisoned Dervishes which has led the security forces and prison guards to confine families in visiting room and with the arrival of the security forces all their family members were threatened with arrest.
After more than 6 hours they are currently still in the prison visiting room, behind closed doors, looking forward to meet with their loved ones, imprisoned Dervishes in Ward 209 of Evin Prison and are not going to leave there.
Dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor website’s managers (Nematollahi Gonabadi Order News Site) Messrs. Hamid Reza Moradi, Mostafa Daneshjou, Amir Eslami, Farshid Yadollahi, Afshin Karampour and Reza Entesari have been held in Evin prison for more than 19 months and since 26th of Day 1391 ( Jan 15, 2013) under order from judge Salavati have been put in the basement cells of the Section 209 of Evin prison.
