Saleh Moradi and Kasra Nouri on 27th Day 1391 (Jan 16, 2013) began a hunger strike to protest transfer of seven Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyer to solitary confinement.

According to reports by Majzooban Noor, yesterday these two Gonabadi dervishes who have been jailed for 16 months in Adel Abad prison by sending a letter went on hunger strike to protest transfer of seven jailed Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyer and Majzooban Noor’s managers to solitary confinement of Evin prison.

It should be noted that, Saleh Moradi Sarvestani and Kasra Nouri have been confined for more than 16 months in Shiraz Adel Abad prison on charge of “Propaganda against the regime”, “acting against national security”, “Deviant group (Majzooban Noor) membership” and “interviews with foreign media, Radio Farda”, but they have not yet received a definitive sentence till now.

It seems that, after 16 months, their case is under investigation in Shiraz’s Revolutionary Court.

We, the jailed Gonabadi dervishes in Shiraz Adel Abad prison, were informed that our brothers were being moved to solitary confinement. Now our souls are in torment to hear this news. We would keep our body’s uncomfortable so would go on hunger strike to protest transfer of our brothers in faith, Messrs. Hamid Reza Moradi Sarvestani, Mostafa Daneshjou, Farshid Yadollahi, Amir Eslami, Afshin Karampour, Omid Behroozi and Reza Entesari to solitary confinement and We stated that due to serious health condition of three dervishes, Evin Prison officials and judge Salavati will be responsible for any consequences of this illegal act.

We will continue our hunger strike till our brothers return to ward 350 of Evin and receive proper medical treatment.
