In a letter signed by jailed lawyers and Dervish rights activists who are held in ward 350 of Evin prison, they requested investigation on violation of law by judge Salavati from disciplinary prosecutor court of Judges.
This grievance is also against juridical and security authorities who are related to their case.
According to a report by Majzooban Noor, in a part of this letter of complaint is quoted ” Which logic or proof accepts that we lawyers and jurists could be treated in such manner for from wisdom and reason?”.
Also they mention that: ” The disastrous violation of law by court and prosecutor are that they are completely blind towards all well reasoned out documentations and proofs that are handed in by us. The attorneys have quoted the violations as follows:
1- “Non-observance of formalities in regulation of general and Revolution’s Court establishment for private penal appeal cases.”
2- “Expiration of the least legal prison sentences and continuation of illegal imprisonments.”
3- “Insulting and beating the prisoners during arrest and during interrogation.”
4- “Submitting the matter of investigation to the security agents of ministry of Intelligence who are the plaintiff and could not be considered as justice executor officers.”
5- ‘Not allowing the defender lawyers to meet them or to study their file case.”
6- “New charges in their last hearing at Evin prison and raising some empathic and Ideological questions”.
7- “Giving unlawful shooting the defendants by the chasing authorities.”
8- “Keeping the defendants in solitary confinement for more than 4 months.”
9- “Using blindfolded and handcuffed in the interrogation sections.”
The prisoners of conscience have hoped in this letter that the disciplinary prosecutor court authorities would do what is their duty of Justina and
Trueness to read this letter carefully and hopefully close the final pages of this cruel story against the Dervishes.
The name of these prisoners of conscience are as follows:
1-Hamid Reza Moradi (Dervish and human rights activist)
2-Mostafa Daneshjou (Attorney and human rights activist who his advocate’s license has been revoked due to defense of the dervishes)
3-Farshid Yadollahi (Attorney and human rights activist)
4-Amir Eslami (Attorney and human rights activist)
5-Omid Behroozi (Attorney and human rights activist who his advocate’s license has been revoked due to defense of the dervishes)
6-Afshin Karampour (Attorney and dervish rights activist)
7-Reza Entesari ( Photo-Journalist and dervish rights activist)
The above mentioned 7 attorneys and managers of Majzooban Noor website have been imprisoned for more than 16 months in Evin prison without trail on charges of “Acting against national security through membership to the anti-cult security Friary(being dervish)”, “Insulting the leadership”, “Disturbing the public opinion” and “spreading lies”.
Judicial authorities stated that the case of dervishes’s lawyers is under investigation in Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court.
