Mostafa Daneshjou, detained Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyer after hours of struggling, was hospitalized yesterday morning.
According to a report by Majzooban Noor news site, Mostafa Daneshjou who is suffering from severe asthma was transferred to Tehran’s Milad Hospital
yesterday on 4th Day 1391 (Dec 24, 2012) but when the doctor ordered for lung biopsy, Prison officials, stated that according to Judge Salavati’s order, this prisoner has no right of hospitalization(!)and wanted to get him back to Evin prison!
Fortunately, according to hospital rules after filling out the form for medical records in hospitals and initial processing, discharge is possible only by the patient’s consent, so this jailed lawyer by stating that those who has prevented medical treatment for him, will be responsible for his health refused to sign so after hours of delay and resistance to pressure him to sign the consent, in the end, Mostafa Daneshjou was admitted to Milad Hospital.
Since the beginning of the year it is the Fourth time that he has been transferred to the hospital due to his severe respiratory disease and now he must be undergoing treatment and medical tests by Specialists but the Judge Salavati ( presiding judge of Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court ) prevents medical treatment for him!
It is notable that on 7th Azar 1391(Nov 27, 2012) , Mr. Daneshjou along with two other jailed Gonabadi dervishes and administrators of Majzooban Noor website who had been admitted for treatment at Tehran’s Milad Hospital, according to a direct order by Judge Salavati, were sent back to Evin prison all at once.
This Lawyer who has been in temporary detention for 16 months without any prison sentence and other jailed Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzoban Noor website’s managers have announced that if the legal formalities are not completed, they will not attend the Court hearing.
Unlawful interference of Judge Salavati in the medical treatment of political prisoners and especially prisoners of conscience has increased after Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzoban Noor website’s managers refused to take part in the trail renouncing the legality of the court which was supposed to be held on 29th of Aban. It was due to this refuse that they were denied medical treatment and were returned to prison by the Judge because Abolghasem Salavati, recently ordered those who refuse to participate in the trial must be deprived of the “prisoner rights” such as Medical Services!
