Four Gonabadi dervishes who were summoned to Branch 110 of Shiraz’s public and Criminal court (Atlassi Branch) to investigate their charges, refused to attend the court.

According to Majzooban reporter, Mrs. Farzaneh Nouri and Messrs.Saleh Moradi Sarvestani, Behzad Nouri and Farzad Darvish who have been summoned to appear in Shiraz Investigative court on charge of “spreading lies” Tuesday morning on 9th Aban 1391 (Oct 30, 2012) refused to attend the court hearing.

The reasons for not participating in the court was that, dervishes received a court summons by just phone (which is not accordance with Law) and also their defender lawyers received no summons to appear in court on the hearing date.

Mr. Saleh Moradi who has been in detention for more than 14 months in Shiraz Adel Abad prison and yesterday morning on 9th Aban 1391 (Oct 30, 2012) was transferred from prison to the court, said to trial judge: “because I have been never allowed to meet with my lawyer up to now and no summons has been received for my lawyer, I have no defense here.”

The judge also by stating that, this method of summoning is completely illegal, and phone summons have not been mentioned in any legal code therefore, court session will be reconsidered.

Our reporter added that, charges against Gonabadi dervishes included “spreading lies”, Deviant group membership”, “Disturbing public order”, “Disturbing the public opinion” and an unfounded accusation:”To be mother of fugitive accused” !!! which is one of the charges for Mrs.Farzaneh Nouri (mother of Farhad nouri, manager of Majzooban Noor website).

It should be noted that, some times ago a bail order of 50 million Tomans was issued for Mr.Saleh Moradi but he said that he has not committed any crime and refused to pay the bail so that remained in captivity.
