Gonabadi dervish, Kasra Nouri was sentenced to one year suspended imprisonment.

Branch 106 of Shiraz Penal Court (Shaheed Atlasi), presided over by Judge “Ashouri”, sentenced Mr.Kasra Nouri to one suspended jail-term on charges of “Spreading lies and disturbing public opinion”.

Lawyer of this dervish and prisoner of conscience, Mr.Fariborz Yadollahi has objected to court’s ruling by giving petition for appeal and the case has been refered to appeal Court now.

It should be noted that there is another active file of Kasra Nouri in Branch 3 of Shiraz’s Revolutionary Court, which on 3th Mehr 1391 ( Sept 24 2012 ) presided over by Judge “Rashidi” and with the presence of defender lawyer, “Mr. Fariborz Yadollahi”, tried Gonabadi dervish, Kasra Nouri on the charges of “interviews with foreign media”,”Propaganda against the regime”, “insulting the leadership”, “membership of deviant group: Majzooban!” and “expose national secrets” and due to the long process of trial, the hearing was postponed.

It is important to say that, Gonabadi dervish, Kasra Nouri, has been arrested by security forces 2 times till now.

Once he was arrested on charge of “acting against the regime” and “Activities during the day and night” on the morning of Wednesday 21 Dey ( Jan 11 , 2012 ) .

On 7th Esfand , 1390 ( Feb 26 , 2012 ), he was released on bail of 50 million toman, after 46 days in jail in Shiraz Intelligence Office’s Detention Center and Adel Abad prison.

He was again arrested on the charges of “propagating against the regime in favor of foreigners” and “contact and interview with Radio Farda.”on 24th Esfand, 1390 ( Mar 14 , 2012 ).
