Today on 8th Shahrivar 1391 (Aug 29 2012) branch 106 of Shiraz’s General Criminal Court “Shahid Atlasi”, presided over by Judge Ashouri, tried Gonabadi dervish,Kasra Nouri.
Defense lawyers of this Gonabadi dervish, Messrs.Davoud Montazeri and Fariborz Yadollahi could join in the session too.
According to Majzoban reporter, he was charged to “propagating against the regime in favor of foreigners” and “contact and interview with Radio Farda” and also “Spreading lies and disturbing public opinion”.
Kasra Nouri stated that, since middle of September 2011 ( Shahrivar 1390) when a theologian named Shahbazi, delivering CD against Sufism and announcing for a rally on Friday, Shahrivar 11, 1390 (September 2, 2011) in Kavar, a town of Fars province, the opponents of true Islamic mysticism caused stress and turmoil, seriously breached the peace of Kavar county and encouraged and stimulated the plain-clothes to come into conflict with dervishes.
During these altercations, tens of dervishes were arrested and injured and one was killed by excessive bleeding from a gunshot wound and Majzooban Noor website just only published about cruelties which Gonabadi dervished had been suffered during Kavar events.
He said that, these accusations is all false and the real causatives for this event must be charged with spreading lies and disturbing public opinion but unfortunately they are free now!
He said: “When security institutions have influence over the judicial system and you don’t have ability to deal with people who break the law during my arrest and interrogation by not respecting my legal rights as an Iranian citizen, and they breach the Constitution and my legal rights, I know the court is non-jurisdiction to deal with my cases and I do not accept any of these accusations too.”
It should be noted that, family and friends of this Gonabadi dervish had come to court to support their brother in faith but security forces prevented them from visiting and being close to him , and even his brother has been threatened to detain.
Also his family was not allowed to attend the trial!
It is important to say that, Gonabadi dervish, Kasra Nouri, has been arrested by security forces 2 times till now.
Once he was arrested on charge of “acting against the regime” and “Activities during the day and night” on the morning of Wednesday 21 Dey ( Jan 11 , 2012 ) .
On 7th Esfand , 1390 ( Feb 26 , 2012 ), he was released on bail of 50 million toman, after 46 days in jail in Shiraz Intelligence Office’s Detention Center and Adel Abad prison.
He was again arrested on the charges of “propagating against the regime in favor of foreigners” and “contact and interview with Radio Farda.”on 24th Esfand, 1390 ( Mar 14 , 2012 ).
Our reporter reminded that he is suffering from respiratory disease due to the harsh and poor health conditions of prison and was transferred to the hospital after he submitted numerous requests to receive medical treatment.
Kasra Nouri transferred to hospital because the families of these Prisoners of conscience complained and protested to Mr.Mousa Ahmadi, Director general of the Central Prison in Shiraz against this unpleasantness situation.
