Three Gonabadi dervishes, Just due to believe in Dervish brotherhoods and with false charges such as “Propaganda and acting against national security”, “disturbing public order and also “interview with foreign radio” are held in Shiraz Adel Abad prison.

They have been confined for more than 11 months in section 10 and 11 which is for convicted of serious crimes like murder and drug trafficking.

None of these accusations have been proved, or better to say that no court has held to investigate their case yet and the case remains inactive in the public prosecution.

Saleh Moradi, is a dervish and also a prisoner of conscience, he says : bail of 100 million has been issued for me but I have not done any crime so why should I pay the bail mandatory and by coercion?

Gonabadi dervish, Saleheddin Moradi Sarvestani, has been incarcerated for more than 11 months in Adel Abad prison, where does not having even the lowest standards of health and welfare and law’s breakdown of offense and also the difference between “Accused” and “Convicted” does not mean there.

All regulations about prisoner’s rights such as: “health care and getting fresh air”, “medical examination” and “treating the disease” are violated.

It should be noted that, he suffers from dire health and has repeatedly asked authorities to be sent to the hospital for examination by a specialist but his efforts were ineffective up to now!

Kasra Nouri, another young dervish who has been confined for 6 months in this prison, expressed concern about Saleh Moradi, his like-minded and inmate and said: “A few days ago, Saleh had very high fever and due to severe weakness he was not able even to move … so we asked, we begged and we insisted that he needs a doctor but after two days when Saleh still had a fever, the doctor came and prescribed medicines but now, prison clinic does not deliver the drug and says there is no drug !And no one is responsible for supplying drugs !”

Gonabadi dervish had been arrested for the first time on the morning of Wednesday 21 Dey ( Jan 11 , 2012 ) and then after being confined in Intelligence Detention and Shiraz central prison for 46 days, was released on bail of 50 million toman on Esfand 07 , 1390 ( Feb 26 , 2012 ) and after that he had an interview with one of the foreign radio station in which he fully explained the horrible health care and its situation in Adel Abad prison.

Just after this interview he was arrested again.

In this interview, he described the poor situation of Adel Abad prison and he explained about injustice and oppression that prisoners have to suffer in prison, to dervishes,human rights activists and Iranian people.

But this revealing, causes to be made a new accusation and case ​​for him.

His family said about his details of the current situation in prison:

When in a criticall health condition of a prisoner, prison officials’s reaction is just

indifference…

When the only way to take a prisoner to the hospital and health care facilities is just ” own-beating”…how can we talk about health care condition in prison ??

Should we say that, our prisoner is not allowed even to go out for fresh air during a month ? Or Should we say that, nutritional status is too inappropriate there ?

There is talk of “at least”.Speaking of a prison’s facilities , where the eyes of Mr. Saleh Moradi will be weaker

every month and normal viewing is difficult for him and unfortunately the authorities do not consider his problem as a illness!

Non-compliance with the law is not only problem about poor health care condition in this prison but also is in the follow-up of justice cases.

Temporary detention of Gonabadi dervish, Kasra Nouri, was extended for the third time without any legal reason…According to the law: “If after 2 months, due to provisional remedy, the accused is still in custody and his case has not been submitted to the court for final decision, the legal authority is obliged to cancel the arrest or give a discount (mitigation), otherwise, if there is  justified reason for the detention, so it must be mentioned and detention to be extended.

It is remarkable that, Mohammad Ali Shamshirzan, after one month of issuance of bail of 50 million in Branch 14 of Shiraz’s Revolutionary Court presided by Judge Kheshti, he was still in jail due to lack of confirmation of attorney .

Lack of health facilities have been a factor to increase pressure on prisoners of conscience, in Tehran Evin prison too, where “lawyers and managers of Majzooban Noor website ” have been held for more than 11 months with this intention that, their morale and beliefs will be undermined.

Pressure is very high, so that most of these prisoners of conscience are suffering from physical illness there.

Meanwhile, physical health condition of Hamid Reza Moradi one of the managers of Majzooban Noor website, who is suffering from heart and kidney problems and also over 70 percent of his leg veins has “clogging of arteries” problem, is worrisome so that even walking and standing, is very difficult and painful for him now and his family is too concerned and worried about his health.

Despite warnings from physicians that he needs special medical care, he has not been treated properly and unfortunately the judiciary refused to allow him leave to continue his treatment outside the prison.

Amir Eslami, has been waiting for Medical examination of his heart disease for several months.

Awaiting was too long so he was taken to hospital as an “emergency” and physician, ordered his immediate hospitalization.

Lung disease and asthma attacks, caused that Mustafa Daneshjou has been transferred to hospital for the third time .

It is mentioning that unfortunately the health care status and treatment for prisoners of conscience and political prisoners is too undesirable in Iran.
