Afshin Yavari, a political prisoner incarcerated at Rejaei-Shahr prison (in Gohardasht), was hospitalized after suffering a nervous breakdown.

According to reports, his condition is the result of not receiving medication he requires from the prison infirmary. The reports also claim that the Rejaei-Shahr prison infirmary long ago stopped supplying many prisoners with critical medications.
