The reports on the health care situation of Gonabadi dervishes are such that they are deprived of minimum facilities and even not allowed to visit specialist doctors.

The followings are the details of poor physical condition of such jailed dervishes :

 Hamid Reza Moradi Sarvestani :

He is one of the administrators of Majzooban Noor website who has been arrested since Shahrivar 13 , 1390 (Sept 04 2011 ) and he has had a heart problem for long and six months ago he had heart attack because of pressure and torture of being in solitary confinement and then he was taken to hospital .

Now it is a month that he also is suffering of Kidney problem and the permit to visit an specialist has not been issued yet .

It should be noted that, Mr. Moradi suffers of this pain from long time ago and despite the prison clinic doctor’s prescription, prison officials did not cooperate in sending him to hospital and he was just injected by tranquilizer every night and it is important to say that, his heart illness with conformation of prison doctor need to be checked with Angiography and any pressure and pain tolerance is harmful for him .

Therefore the first aid needs, such as hospitalization which is unfortunately ignored by prison management.

 Mostafa Daneshjou :

He is one of the Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyer who sentenced to seven months in prison on charge of spreading lies and disturbing public opinion by appeals court in Mazandaran on Ordibehesht 28, 1390 (May 18, 2011) and while he was passing his period of conviction , transfered from Sari prison to the section 209 of solitary confinement in Evin prison so it is nearly one year that he has been confined in prison.

He is suffering from breathing problem and Asthma .

It is a month that he has kidney infection and on his persistance, he was only been treated by tranquilizer, till on Thursday 31th Farvardin 1391 (April 19 , 2012 ) he was transferred to hospital because of severe weakness and Asthma attack, the Kidney specialist urgently diagnose and experiment by Kidney Scan but unfortunately because of disorder in prison management not attending a proper medical treatment, the danger of another Asthma attack is imminent .

It should be added that he was hospitalized due to a severe attack of Asthma and respiratory problems in Ordibehest 1391( April 2012) but security forces have not allowed his family to visit him and also Follow-up his status in the hospital and he is held under tight security and with the handcuffed and anklet on bed now!

 Reza Entesari :

He is a journalist and member of Majzooban Noor website who was arrested by security forces agent attack in site office on 13th Shahrivar 1390 ( Sept 04 , 2011 ), his arms and fingers has been injured and once a surgery was done on his finger in Ghamar Banihashem hospital .

As a result of not attending by Physiotherapy, after surgery, he quickly returned to prison to continue the interrogation in section 209 of Evin prison and this caused a problem which his finger was welded crooked and he was not able to bend his finger from the joint area and now to be going under another surgery.

Since the authorities in prison do not attend to his painful situation, his own family have set appointment for him twice up to now, but unfortunately his permission is not given to him yet.

Thus he is under severe pain.

 Amir Eslami :

He is one of the Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyer and a member of Majzooban Noor website who has been arrested since Shahrivar 10 , 1390 ( Sept 01 2011 ) in Kavar county and also had a history of heart problem before imprisonment but in prison due to the lake of medical care and nursing management, his illness got worst.

He was taken to hospital due to heart attack on Wednesday Farvardin 30 1391 (April 18 2012 ).

One of the other main reason for his attack was pressure and torture of beings in solitary confinement in last year and this Gonabadi dervish is now in a very severe state.

 Afshin Karampour :

This Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyer , during Kavar’s event when he had meeting with the governor in Kavar was arrested there by security forces and transferred to Evin prison .

In prison,his left ankle has been broken for More than four months but prison officials about his transfer to hospital were unresponsive so that he has suffered severe pain during the last months …and decision once was sent him to Taleghani hospital but because of refusing to use handcuffs by him , it was canceled.

It is remarkable that based on Clause 1 of Article 235 of the Executive Regulations of Prisons in our law, the use of handcuffs on the accused convicted and sent to the judiciary, medical centers, educational and training is not allowed.

After a long time tolerate the pain, Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyer was transferred from Evin prison to Taleghani hospital to treat his broken leg in Ordibehesht 29 , 1391 ( April 17 , 2012 ) .

In Adel Abad prison in Shiraz city, the Gonabadi dervishes’s situation is as bad as Evin prison

 Saleh Moradi Sarvestani :

He has been arrested from more than seven months ago after security forces and plain-clothes raided to his house and he is confined in Adel Abad prison now.

It is now six months that he has not been attended by doctors and he has been injured in neck and shoulder area with severe pain which is the reason of detention pressure when he has been held in Intelligence detention center in Shiraz which is known as No. 100 in the heavy physical and psychological torture at about two months at the beginning of his detention.

It is notable that, family’s protect has not been effective yet.

Kazem Deghan :

He is a Gonabadi dervish resident of Kavar town in Fars province, who has been confined in Adel Abad prison more than three months .

Our reporter added that, in Bahman 21 , 1390 ( Feb 18 , 2012 ), plain-clothes and security forces raided Kazem Dehghan’s home and arrested him and transferred to the Justice Department of Kavar and the dervish’s charges had been held without the presence of lawyers and his family in Kavar city and then transferred to the Adel Abad prison , but on Esfand 06 , 1390 ( Feb 25 , 2012 ) he has been again transferred to Intelligence and Security office which is known as No 100 and it seems that in this detention center has been interrogated and severely beaten.

He is suffering from heart problems and no attention has been given to him yet, reporter said .

It is important to mention here that he was accused to ” Moharebeh “( Enmity against God or Valiye Faghih ), corruption agents on earth and illegal carrying weapons.

This false accusations and heavy charges is the most pressure on him which is dangerous for his health.

 Kasra Nouri :

This Gonabadi dervish had been arrested for the first time on the morning of Wednesday 21 Dey ( Jan 11 , 2012 ) and then after being confined in Intelligence Detention and Shiraz central prison for 46 days, was released on bail of 50 million tomans on Esfand 07 , 1390 ( Feb 26 , 2012 ) and after that he had an interview

with one of the foreign radio station in which he fully explained the horrible health care and situation in Adel Abad prison.

Just after this interview he was arrested again over a month ago …

He is guilty of interviewing with foreign radios.

There are many such violation of human rights without the responsibilities of health care which are upon the prison authorities if any harm happens to any prisoner .

Also all the health care expences must be paied by prisoners, so what must be the reason for this such negligence ?
