Gonabadi dervish, Ali Reza Roushan who is currently serving his sentence in Ward 350 of Evin Prison, shaved his hair off to protest violations of dervishes rights.

Shargh newspaper reporter, dervishes rights activist, poet and one of the Majzooban Noor website’s personnel, Ali Reza Roushan, shaved his hair off to protest against illegal shaving beard and head hair of Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor’s managers (Messrs. Hamid Reza Moradi Sarvestani, Amir Eslami, Mostafa Daneshjou, Farshid Yadollahi, Afshin Karampour, Omid Behroozi and Reza Entesari) by intelligence officers of Ward 209 Evin.

It should be reminded that, the jailed Gonabadi dervishes because of refusing to participate in court, under order from judge Salavati, were transferred to solitary confinement and their hair and beard were shaved by prison agents forcibly with the aim of insulting and contempt.

After inserting news on Majzooban Noor website (Nematollaho Gonabadi News Website) other Gonabadi dervishes have their hair shaved off to protest the illegal act of security and justice system.

According to received news from accross Iran, followers of Nematollahi Gonabadi order in many cities of Iran such as « Shahrekord, Karaj, Bandar Abbas, Tehran, Shiraz and …» to show solidarity with their brethren in faith and in protest against the illegal actions of officials have decided to shave off their hair.
