The Lawyers and Majzooban Noor’s Managers Were Transferred to Solitary Confinement

 

 

 

 

 

Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor’s managers because of refusing to participate in court, according to the order by the trial judge, were transferred to solitary confinement.

According to reports by Majzooban Noor, the trial of these seven Nematollahi Gonabadi dervishes was supposed to be held in Branch 15 of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Salavati today during nine consecutive days on 27th Dey till 7th Bahman 1391 (Jan 16-26 2013) but their defender lawyers didn’t show up in court.

The trial judge, Mr. Salavati, said the lawyers that, jailed dervishes have been transferred to solitary confinement of Evin prison from yesterday.

It is important to say that due to Non-conformity of Procedural Law, the Court was considered unfair by them and they continue to refuse to attend the session.

Formerly, these detainees’ lawyers and Majzooban Noor’s managers, in formal complaint letter to disciplinary prosecutor court of Judges, called for an investigation on violation of law by judge Salavati and other juridical and security authorities who are related to their case. The letter was submitted to the Supreme Court Justices.

It is noteworthy that, the situation in solitary confinement is absolutely dangerous for three imprisoned dervishes because Mostafa Daneshjou who is suffering from severe respiratory disease and asthma, according to the doctor should not stay in a closed area for a long period of time and also two other dervishes, Hamid Reza Moradi and Amir Eslami are suffering from heart disease and taking heart medication.
