At some point Muhammad adopted the practice of meditating alone for several weeks every year in a cave on Mount Hira near Mecca. During one of his visits to Mount Hira, the angel Gabriel appeared to him in the year 610 and commanded Muhammad to recite the following verses:
Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created- Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- He Who taught (the use of) the pen,- Taught man that which he knew not.(Qur’an 96:1-5)
upon receiving his first revelations Muhammad was deeply distressed and contemplated throwing himself off the top of a mountain but the spirit moved closer and told him that he has been chosen as a messenger of God.
According to Muslim tradition, Muhammad’s wife Khadija was the first to believe he was a prophet.She was soon followed by Muhammad’s ten-year-old cousin Ali ibn Abi Talib.Around 613, Muhammad began his public preaching (Quran 26:214).[79] Most Meccans ignored him and mocked him,while a few others became his followers. There were three main groups of early converts to Islam: younger brothers and sons of great merchants; people who had fallen out of the first rank in their tribe or failed to attain it; and the weak, mostly unprotected foreigners.

“Thou! who believe in the book, we sent to you the representative and the prophet of God, to state to you what you conceal of the divine book. The prophet elected by God grants to you a book named Quran, to guide you. One who follows him, will be prosperous, lucky is the one who converts to him and finds the right way of health and prosperity. This Quran is a repetitive which guides you from the darkness to the light and will conduct you upon God’s will to the truth.” (Sura: Maedeh, verse: 15)
MABAS, is the day when a spiritual revolution and movement has occurred in the world of humanity, to be continued forever. A revolution under which rays, a spiritual alteration is created in the people, the result of which is a change of his viewpoint from materialistic to spiritual affairs.
MABAS is the day when a divine sound was heard from east of Hera Mount in the human world ordering the people to intellectual promotion and growth. When the greatest saver of man was elected, when a light horizon, a continuous brightness took place in the depth of knowledge and foresight of man.
The prophet of God brought a religion, which shall commence from the origin of creation to cover to the end of man’s path. In the first order, he was called: “Read in the name of your creator, in the name of One who crated man of dried earth and guaranteed his attainment, and taught to him knowledge and foresight.” A mild religion free of any extremes, a religion which ended materialistic world of the Jews and monasticism of the Christians, a religion which contained the world and the eternity, the soul and the body, the self and the physics, to create a complete man who will succeed God on the earth.
Mohammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) took reformist steps to improve the social corruptions and like a physician treated the inner and outer pains of Man. His system was a system of temperance which guided his path toward charity, interests, prosperity. ” He created among the people of society balance and equilibrium, interest, sympathy and considered endeavor the first principle of Man’s life, so that all the people will be successful by a high will and legible activities and will reach the peak of honor and glory. He considered thought as a key of the world’s treasury. He emphasized on performance of justice and equality in the Islamic society and instructed strictly the unity with God to avoid any discord and division.(Sura: Jomeh, verse: 2)
Considering the verses of holy Quran, each of the prophets had a special program to guide man. A program the pillars and elements of which had been determined by God. According to Sura: Jomeh, verse: 2 , such a program has four principles:
1. Reading and explaining the divine verses to the people.
2. Purification of men’s souls which is the most important duty of prophets, because as long as man’s soul has not been purified of evil, immoralities, polytheism, it might not be decorated with knowledge and philosophy and be manifested by the light of culture. If not so, the knowledge will lead man to destruction.
3. Instruction of the Book: one of the instructions of holy prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) is that he taught to man Quran verses comprising the divine knowledge and statement of the world’s status after death, pandemonium, paradise, hell, through piety and prosperity and also civil rules, the instructions which shall be eternal.
4. Instruction of theosophy: theosophy means the correct science or the good manner. Quran has defined theosophy as Quranic preaches, knowledge, understanding, prophecy, secrets of Quran.
Prophet of Islam made his best endeavors relying on Almighty God to perform the aforesaid four rules out of the divine program in the world of humanity and lead to growth of humanity besides spiritual growth.
