برادران عزیز جامعه ی انسانیت
ما جمعی از دراویش نعمت اللهی گنابادی هستیم و از کشورمان ایران، این نامه را خطاب به شما می‌نویسیم. ما از همان مسلک و تباری هستیم که انسان های اندیشمندی چون مولوی و عطار و خیام را به جامعه انسانی تقدیم کرده است. سراینده همان شعری که شما بر سردر سازمان ملل و ما در مطلع این نامه حک کردیم، یکی از مشایخ ما جناب سعدی‌ شیرازی است. شعری که نماد امید برای مظلومان و همبستگی انسان ها شده است.
اما امروز ما در کشورمان آزاد نیستیم تا خود را به عنوان درویش معرفی کرده و بر طبق مسلک و عقیده مان که منطبق با شریعت اسلام و مذهب تشیع که مذهب رسمی ایران نیز هست، عمل کنیم.
ما دراویش نعمت‌اللهی گنابادی سال‌هاست که به بهانه‌های مختلف به سفارش نهادهای امنیتی از کار بی‌کار می‌شویم،از حق آموزش عالی محروم می شویم، خانه و محل کارمان و حتی اندیشه‌مان با رفتارهای خصمانه و حتی وحشیانه نیروهای امنیتی مورد تفتیش قرار می‌گیرد. محل عبادتمان را آتش می‌زنند و با بولدوزر خراب می‌کنند. دراویش را به شیوه‌‌ای مرعوب‌کننده از شهر خارج می‌کنند و مورد ضرب و شتم جسمی و روانی قرار می‌دهند، به طور پیاپی بازداشت می‌کنند و در سلول‌های انفرادی در حبس نگه می‌دارند و به روش قرون وسطایی مورد بازجویی قرار می‌دهند و در حالی که با رجوع وکلای دادگستری و با عنایت به اصول مصرح در قانون اساسی خواستار برخورد قانونی ماموران هستیم، وکلای‌مان را نیز دستگیر می‌کنند و بدون محاکمه، آنها را مجرم می‌خوانند و در زندان نگه می‌دارند.
ما را بایکوت خبری کرده اند، جراید روزنامه ها حق انتشار هیچ مطلبی از ما ندارند، صدای ما سرکوب شده تا ستم هایی که برما می رود دیده نشود و رنج و آمال ما فریاد نشود. فعالان حقوق بشر وخبرنگاران به جرم اینکه صدای ما را منعکس کردند و از نقض حقوق انسانی و اجتماعی ما سخن گفته اند، محکوم به زندان و حبس شده اند. .
اینک بیشتر از یک سال است وکلای ما درویشان گنابادی و فعالان حقوق ما (آقایان حمیدرضا مرادی، مصطفی دانشجو، فرشید یداللهی، امیر اسلامی، امید بهروزی، افشین کرم پور و رضا انتصاری) در بند امنیتی زندان اوین تهران محبوس هستند در حالی که هیچ دادگاهی برای آنان برگزار نشده است.
یک سال و اندی از حبس افرادی می گذرد که طرفداران حق آزادی عقیده و بیان هستند می‌گذرد. رساندن صدای مظلوم ما و دادخواهی قانونی حق ما امروز جرم آنها شده است. نیروهای امنیتی و قضایی‌ مطیع و دستوربگیر نیز جز پرونده‌سازی بی‌‌وقفه و نسبت‌دادن اتهام‌های واهی و بی‌پایه و اساس به کسانی‌ که کاری جز دفاع از حقوق قانونی دراویش نکرده‌اند اقدامی نمی کنند.
برادران عزیز
دوران تفتیش عقاید گویا هنوز به قرون وسطی ختم نمی شود، نیروهای امنیتی کشور ما را به خاطر عقایدمان به عنوان فرقه ضد امنیتی و منحرف قلمداد می کنند، حال ما از شما می خواهیم که به ستمگران نادان توضیح دهید که مسلکی قرن ها آموخته که افکار خود را به شعر و هنر بیان کند، هرگز راهی به سوی خشونت و برهم زدن امنیت ندارند. ما این نامه را نوشتیم تا صدای کسانی شویم که زمانی داد ما را در محکمه های کشورمان بلند می کردند و از ما دفاع می کردند ولی امروز خود اسیر زندان شده اند، و از شما می خواهیم که به رسم انسانیت پیگیر حقوق آنها در محاکم بین‌المللی باشید.

Dear brothers of human community;
We are your Sufi brothers of Nematullahi Gonabadi Order in Iran. We are from the same
school that formed and introduced for human community, exemplar personages like Rumi,
Farid-ed-din Attar, Khayyam or Sa’di Shirazi; the teller of the above cited poem, carved at
the entrance of United Nation Organization showing the objective of this esteemed organization as the house of hope for oppressed human beings and human solidarity.
We are the followers of those highly humanitarian mystic thinkers, whose thoughts,
transferred in XV century to Europe, made the glory of scholars of occident in matter of
human dignity, law and peace. We are from the land and the language of Cyrus the Great
who funded the human rights model, 27 centuries ago.
Still some think the inquisition was only limited to middle age?

But today, we are not free in our proper country to make part of this same Sufi community, to choose our faith and follow our rituals according to Islamic Shiite sharia, as the official
religion of the country.
Our praying houses, our mosques are fired and bulldozed, our confreres are arrested, beaten
and some tortured to death. Our houses are investigated and destroyed by security forces and
we are arrested for claiming our legal right to see the legal mandates of these actions. Our
children and our relatives are deprived from right of high education and other civil rights. We
are not allowed to work in administration. Even the right of property for us is sometimes
subject to annihilation. We suffer information boycott and our voice is suppressed when we
are oppressed, to say that we are not even allowed to cry when we are aggressed.
Our Sufi advocates who take our defense according to the written and existing laws in Iranian
constitution, go to prison. Even when other brave lawyers defenders of human rights, take our
defense; they go to jail with them too.
Now it is more than one year that our lawyers (Messrs.Farshid Yadollahi, Mostafa Daneshjou, Amir Eslami, Afshin Karampour and Omid Behroozy) are imprisoned without any charge and no
judgment in court, only to oblige them to repent of being Sufi.
Dear brothers of human community;
We wrote this letter to ask you, as Humanity and philanthropy, follow-up their rights in international courts.We ask you to explain to ignorant oppressors that one, who learnt to express his thoughts by
poesy, will never backward to language of violence. Those who resisted more than hundreds
of decades on their justified lawful rights and their humanitarian mission, whose heart and
thoughts are illuminated with the light of knowledge of human values, will never retrograde
to obscurity of ignorance, at price of their lives; as Rumi says:

On that first day of creation; I gave my word,
To invest my life at service of The Lord,
Damned shall be my life and me, if
I should betray, The Pact with my Lord.

Any human’s problem on the earth shall be ours if, our will is to reach a global peace.
